Wednesday 15th January - Wednesday 19th February ( FULL )
Wednesday 6th May - Wednesday 17th June
(6 sessions with a one week break)
We will start with the key elements of drawing through two dimensional and three dimensional approaches. Learning different techniques to create tones and perspective. Moving from black and white to colour through pastel work, these key skills will help you to develop the foundation of a painting.
The course will then guide you through the traditional and contemporary values of painting, allowing you to develop your own visual language. In this 6 week course you will work on small size pieces, experimenting with techniques and approaches. Artists will be referenced throughout the course giving you the opportunity to understand various processes and how each artist has interpreted them.
Even if you haven’t drawn since school, give it a go! This course is suitable for beginners.
Can't make these dates then we also offer private Print and Prosecco Nights - Date and Artist of your choice - Get in touch!
