Designed for small groups, this experience nurtures young minds and sparks creativity as they explore highlights of modern and contemporary art. Art Now: How We Got Here This tour explores how today’s contemporary art styles developed. Children will see how artists first learned the rules of fine art, then pushed, tested, and broke them to create new works with freedom. Along the way, they will record their discoveries in sketchbooks, developing their own creative responses to the art. Key Benefits: Expert guidance in a fun, age-appropriate style. Please arrive on time so the tour can begin as planned. - If you’d like to bring a sketchbook and pencil, please do — but don’t worry if not, as paper and pencils will be provided.
