The Hermit Crab's New Home Join us for a creative two-session holiday workshop where young artists will explore the world of hermit crabs and imagine what unique new homes they might carry on their backs! This engaging class will focus on drawing techniques, encouraging children to think outside the shell as they design whimsical, personalised habitats for their crabs. What to Expect Over the course of this two-day workshop, students will: Begin with guided drawing exercises, using simple shapes to create detailed hermit crabs. Develop their observational and fine motor skills through structured drawing techniques. Use their creativity to think of imaginative new homes for their crabs. Experiment with different artistic techniques, including shading, texture, and colour blending, to bring their designs to life. Gain confidence in expressing their creativity while working on a fun and unique art project. Each workshop is designed to be engaging and playful, encouraging children to experiment with different artistic approaches. No two sessions are alike, so young artists can join us multiple times throughout the holiday season for fresh and exciting projects! Skill Levels and Class Structure We accommodate two skill levels: Ages 6+ Ages 8+ What to Bring A bottle of water and a small nut-free snack. Old clothes or an apron (art can get messy!).
