8+ Online Art Classes | Nov - Dec Term 2023 Wednesday's : 5:30 - 6:30pm Tutor : Joella 1st November - 6th December 2023 ----------------------------------------- Our final term before the holidays is here, and we're ready to get creative! Inspired by the remarkable artists Mark Hearld and Angela Harding, we'll create a mixed media artwork, full with a of different techniques. Throughout this online course, our focus will be on a single artwork, but also using sketchbooks on the side to help in planning and familiarising ourselves with the materials. In the process, we'll dive into techniques such as oil pastel resist, cross-hatching, collage, and drawing. In our classes, we encourage creativity and expression by guiding children through the process of exploring ideas and bringing them to life. Our teacher uses a step by step approach, showing and guiding the children along the way, while still allowing them to explore certain areas on their own. We provide help and feedback to ensure that everyone has the necessary support. For the first lesson, all that's required is a sketchbook and pencil. We'll be using this to plan our artwork, and focus on elements such as subject, composition, and outcome. WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR: Anyone between the ages of 8-14yrs who would love to expand and gain more experience and knowledge in art. HOW DOES IT WORK? - These classes are live and held on the platform zoom, you will need a laptop or tablet to access this. - Step by step guidance and demonstrations, seeing everything that is being created. We would love for everyone to have their camera and microphone on so we can all chat throughout. - Children are encouraged to get involved however they are welcome to chat through the chat box if they feel more comfortable. - Our online classes also offer a fantastic opportunity for children to connect with fellow young artists. Although being in a virtual setting, they can form friendships, interact, and proudly share their incredible creations with one another.
