Still Life: Inspired by Pierre Bonnard ( Post Impressionist ) Designed especially for younger artists, this two-session workshop introduces children to the art of still life through simple shapes, careful observation and plenty of colour. Inspired by the colourful paintings of Pierre Bonnard, children will work from a carefully arranged still life, learning how to look closely at everyday objects and build their drawings step by step. Starting with simple shapes, we'll explore proportion and composition before introducing colour and pattern to create a finished artwork inspired by what they see. The workshop introduces observational drawing in an accessible, age-appropriate way, helping children develop confidence in drawing from life while learning the fundamental skills that will support their artwork as they progress.
