Mixed Media Seascape Workshop – Collage & Print Inspired by the Coast This spring, young artists will explore the expressive possibilities of mixed media, collage, and printmaking in this dynamic two-session workshop inspired by seascapes, marine life, and nautical themes. Students will experiment with layering techniques, mark-making, and composition to create textured and atmospheric artworks. By integrating printing, collage, and painted elements, they will develop an understanding of how different materials interact and how to build depth and movement within an image. Throughout the sessions, participants will be guided through creative problem-solving and material exploration, gaining confidence in combining colour, texture, and form. The workshop encourages both structured techniques and personal interpretation, allowing each student to develop their own artistic voice while refining their technical skills. This hands-on experience is perfect for students who enjoy experimenting with materials and learning new ways to approach image-making, whether they are new to mixed media or looking to expand their artistic practice.
