Service Description
Henry Moore: Monumental Nature Inspired by the Henry Moore: Monumental Nature exhibition at Kew Gardens, this holiday workshop explores the sculptural forms and natural influences within the work of Henry Moore. Children will look closely at Moore’s large-scale sculptures and explore how artists simplify and abstract shapes inspired by nature and the human figure. Students will create their own artist-inspired artwork, either developing a faithful study or a more imaginative response influenced by the exhibition. The workshop will focus on observation, shape, composition, and form, while encouraging children to think creatively about sculpture, space, and scale. Suitable for children who enjoy artist-inspired projects, drawing, and sculpture, this session offers an engaging introduction to one of Britain’s most influential artists. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created a bold artwork inspired by the forms and ideas within Henry Moore’s work. Spaces are limited — early booking is recommended.
