Service Description

Precision & Proportion in Still Life Drawing This summer, young artists are invited to sharpen their observational skills and refine their drawing techniques in a focused two-session still life workshop. Designed for children who enjoy detailed work and careful looking, this workshop offers a guided introduction to drawing with accuracy, proportion, and confidence. Over the two sessions, participants will explore how to break down complex objects into basic shapes, measure proportion accurately, and position elements with care on the page. With plenty of tips and guidance, they’ll learn to see like an artist—training their eyes to notice alignment, spacing, and relative scale. This workshop is ideal for children who are ready to slow down, focus, and build strong foundations in drawing through close observation. In a calm and encouraging environment, each young artist will develop a stronger sense of control and leave with a finished still life drawing that reflects their growing skills. Spaces are limited – early booking is recommended. Knowledge Required: Beginner-friendly – suitable for all levels. What’s Included: All materials and equipment provided. What to Bring: A bottle of water A small nut-free snack Old clothes and something warm to wear Session Repeats: This workshop runs across two consecutive afternoons.
