Service Description

Our 10+ Clay Sculpting class gives young artists the opportunity to explore working with clay and develop their ideas in three dimensions. Students will learn a range of hand-building and sculpting techniques, from shaping and constructing their initial forms to adding texture, detail and character to their finished pieces. Our tutors will guide students step by step through the process, helping them understand how to translate a 2D image or idea into a 3D outcome while building confidence in working with clay. Suitable for beginners as well as those with previous experience, these creative and exploratory sessions are designed for young artists aged 10+. Each holiday class features a different project, so students are very welcome to join us more than once and create something new each time. What to bring A bottle of water and a small nut free snack. We also recommend wearing old clothes or an apron.
