Fruit Study: Painting with Complementary Colours Discover how artists use colour to create depth, light and form in this two-session observational workshop exploring fruit through complementary colours. Working from a carefully arranged still life, students will begin with observational drawing before learning how complementary colours can be layered and blended to create vibrant shadows, rich tonal values and a greater sense of three-dimensional form. Through demonstrations and individual guidance, we'll explore colour theory, mixing techniques and careful observation to produce expressive, confident paintings. Participants will strengthen both their drawing and painting skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how colour relationships can transform a still life.
