Service Description

Reflections: Pencil & Charcoal Observation Develop your observational drawing skills through this focused two-session workshop exploring reflections using pencil and charcoal. Working from carefully arranged still life objects, students will learn how to slow down, really look, and translate what they see onto paper with increasing accuracy and confidence. Through demonstrations and individual guidance, we'll explore proportion, tone, mark-making and the subtle shifts in light that create reflective surfaces. Using both pencil and charcoal, participants will develop techniques for capturing form, texture and contrast while strengthening the observational skills that underpin all great drawing.
