Dive into the world of colour and light inspired by Surat and the Sea, the upcoming exhibition at The Courtland Gallery. We will explore seascapes influenced by the work of Georges Seurat, discovering how he used tiny areas of colour to build vibrant images inspired by the sea. Working with pastel and paint, students will create their own expressive seaside artwork in a Pointillism-inspired style. Technique is the foundation of any art form. Our focussed technique classes offer the opportunity to build an exciting and varied portfolio. Not only will your child go home with a completed piece of artwork, but they’ll leave with a better understanding and increased confidence in their creative abilities.
