In our new Art Box we delve into the world of  ARTIST Vincent Van Gogh. Inspired by his brilliant sense of colour, and his ability to layer colours together resulting in optical mixing . We will be combining two of his most famous artworks. You will learn how to draw Van Gogh's portrait by breaking it down into shapes. Finishing off with a show stopper background!
 
Stepping back in time we EXPLORE the Olympics, comparing the ancient and modern day Olympians. Interpreting our own ancient greek vase.
 
The final project ANIMAL KINGDOM will see us creating a 3D puffin! These 'clowns of the sea' will go from a 2D artwork to a 3D masterpiece. 
 
Each project will teach your child different art techniques and how to use all the materials provided. We will take you on a journey discovering artists, history and many inspiring and fun facts along the way. 
 
The children are lead step by step instructions , and video demonstrations, with loads of tips for them to create their own individual artworks .
