In this new Art Box we start by diving deep into the world of David Hockney and his beautiful vibrant paintings. Taking inspiration from his abstract shapes and his love of the landscape, we will be creating our very own inspired Hockney artwork, using mark making and colour for an eye popping piece. 
 
We then step back in time and visit the Dutch masters of the 17th Century, see how the rabbit has inspired a generation of artists. You will learn how to draw a rabbit by breaking it down into shapes and then using a layering technique with your colouring pencils. Finishing off with a show stopper background. 
 
Our final project of this box, will see us take a trip to the museum, drawing our very own building with all the amazing artefacts inside, and transforming it into a 3D lantern.
 
Each project will teach your child different art techniques and how to use all the materials provided. We will take you on a journey discovering artists, history and many inspiring and funny facts along the way. 
 
The projects are step by step lead through projects cards and videos, with loads of points for them to create in their own way, bringing in new ideas to the projects.
