Designed for small, intimate groups, this experience nurtures young minds and sparks creativity as they explore captivating works in modern and contemporary art. Contemporary Still Life: Tradition Reimagined Whilst exploring Tate Modern’s diverse collection, this tour looks at how artists have captured still life in a variety of ways—from the Cubist masters to contemporary art installations. Children will see how this iconic form developed throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, building sketches in response to what they encounter. Elspeth ensures the experience is child-focused, making complex ideas accessible and exciting. Through discussion and interactive exploration, children gain a deeper understanding of the artworks, their history, and the techniques used. In this welcoming setting, your child will feel encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with art on a personal level—making the experience both educational and inspiring.
