8+ Online Art Classes | Autumn Term 2023 Wednesday's : 5:30 - 6:30pm Tutor : Joella 13th September - 11th October (5) NEXT PROJECT: Join us this Autumn term for our new project "Drawing the Landscape," we will be exploring various techniques. From the wonders of mark-making to the freedom of expressive sketching. Using a variety of art mediums we will learn how best to layer and bring a landscape to life with our own unique touches. There will be moments of demonstrations and step by step processes as well as independent creativity. COURSE HIGHLIGHTS: -Techniques: Learn the power of mark-making, embrace expressive sketching, and master the skill of layering different mediums to create a landscape. -Explore through Sketching: We will guide you through sketched explorations and small studies, helping you with a final drawing that incorporates all your new skills. - Inspiration from the Masters: Discover the distinctive styles of celebrated artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, and Vincent van Gogh. Explore their unique approaches to ----------------------------------------- WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR: Anyone between the ages of 8-14yrs who would love to expand and gain more experience and knowledge in art. HOW DOES IT WORK? - These classes are live and held on the platform zoom, you will need a laptop or tablet to access this. - Step by step guidance and demonstrations, seeing everything that is being created. We would love for everyone to have their camera and microphone on so we can all chat throughout. - Children are encouraged to get involved however they are welcome to chat through the chat box if they feel more comfortable. - Our online classes also offer a fantastic opportunity for children to connect with fellow young artists. Despite being in a virtual setting, they can form friendships, interact, and proudly share their incredible creations with one an MATERIALS: A4 sketchbook paper (whole sketchbook or about 10 pieces of paper) Pencil Pen (fine liner \ biro \ ballpoint pen) Rubber Watercolour paints Colouring pencils (optional) Water pot Kitchen towel/tissue Paintbrushes *First class you will only need a sketchbook paper, pencil and rubber
