Easter Basket Holiday Art Workshop Join us for a creative two-session holiday workshop where young artists will begin by learning to draw spring animals step by step, using simple shapes to build their designs. They will then transform their drawings into beautifully decorated Easter baskets, exploring a range of artistic techniques to bring their creations to life. This hands-on class encourages both drawing and 3D construction, allowing children to craft a unique keepsake to fill with Easter treats. What to Expect Over the course of this two-day workshop, students will: - Start with guided drawing exercises, using basic shapes to create spring animals such as bunnies, chicks, and lambs. - Develop their observational and fine motor skills through structured drawing techniques. - Learn basic 3D construction methods to build their basket. - Decorate their baskets using paints, collage, and mixed media for a personalised touch. - Gain confidence in expressing their creativity while making a functional artwork. Each workshop is designed to be engaging and playful, encouraging children to experiment with different artistic approaches. No two sessions are alike, so young artists can join us multiple times throughout the holiday season for fresh and exciting projects! Skill Levels and Class Structure We accommodate two skill levels: Ages 6+ Ages 8+ What to Bring A bottle of water and a small nut-free snack. Old clothes or an apron (art can get messy!).
