Seashell Pop-Up Surprise: May Half-Term Art Workshop Dive into creativity this May half-term with our Seashell Pop-Up Surprise workshop! Young artists will explore the beauty of seashells through observational drawing, focusing on shape, pattern, and visual texture. The surprise? Each shell will open up to reveal a hidden artistic element inside! What to Expect During this engaging two-session workshop, students will: - Learn to observe and sketch seashells with attention to shape, texture, and intricate patterns. - Experiment with shading and line work to create realistic shell drawings. - Design and construct a pop-up mechanism that allows their shell to open, revealing a hidden surprise inside. Gain confidence in their drawing skills while adding a fun, interactive element to their work. Each session is designed to inspire creativity and curiosity, encouraging children to explore new artistic techniques in an engaging way! Skill Levels and Class Structure We accommodate two skill levels: Ages 6+ Ages 8+ What to Bring A bottle of water and a small nut-free snack. Old clothes or an apron (art can get messy!).
