Drawing & Painting Beach & Seaside Landscapes Join us this holiday for a calming and creative two-day art workshop designed especially for children aged 8 and up. In this technique-led course, young artists will explore the beauty of the British coastline, capturing beach scenes and seaside landscapes through art. Inspired by real-life references and classic landscape techniques, students will learn how to bring skies, sea, sand, and shoreline details to life using a range of materials and methods. What to Expect Over two engaging sessions, students will: - Explore how to sketch natural landscapes using horizon lines, perspective, and simple shapes. - Study the movement of water, changing skies, and shoreline textures through observation and practice. - Experiment with composition, colour blending, and layering techniques. Complete a finished seaside artwork filled with expressive mark-making and personal flair. This workshop is perfect for young artists who enjoy nature, love the coast, or are keen to grow their confidence in capturing outdoor scenes through art. What to Bring A nut-free snack and bottle of water Old clothes or an apron – creativity can get messy! Session Schedule This is a two-day course, running on consecutive days during the school holidays. Spaces are limited to allow for personalised guidance – early booking is recommended.
