Holiday Art Classes for Ages 10+: French Needle Felting Our holiday classes are a fantastic way for children aged 10 and up to explore their creativity while developing essential art skills. In this session, participants will be introduced to French Needle Felting, learning how to safely manipulate merino wool with a barbed needle to create a festive design of their choice. What is French Needle Felting? Needle felting is a technique that transforms wool fibers into soft sculptures using a long, barbed needle. By repeatedly stabbing the wool, shapes and textures are formed, allowing for the creation of animals, flowers, marine life, and much more. This class is open to both beginners and those with experience—once you grasp the technique, needle felting is a fun and rewarding process with impressive results!
