Soft Pastels & Blending Techniques A Two-Session Summer Workshop for Young Artists This summer, young creatives are invited to dive into the world of soft pastels through a two-session workshop focused on expressive blending techniques. Designed for children who enjoy working with colour and texture, this workshop provides a supportive space to explore mark-making, layering, and subtle transitions of tone. Guided by an experienced tutor, participants will be encouraged to experiment freely, gaining confidence in how to use pastels to create soft blends, rich contrasts, and vibrant visual effects. The sessions are all about self-expression and learning through play, helping young artists discover new ways to bring their ideas to life. This workshop is perfect for children who enjoy developing their artistic voice and trying new techniques in a relaxed, inspiring environment. Knowledge Required: Beginner-friendly – suitable for all levels.
