Watercolour & Ink Birds This Easter, children can get creative in a hands-on workshop exploring the beautiful combination of watercolour and ink. Led by Izzy, our head teacher, this two-session workshop is perfect for young artists who love painting and nature. Children will experiment with watercolour washes and ink drawing techniques to create their own bird-themed artworks. They’ll learn how to layer colour, add fine details, and bring their birds to life with expressive lines and brushstrokes. This class is designed for children who enjoy hands-on creative exploration, love nature and animals, and want to develop a strong foundation in painting and drawing techniques. Whether they are beginners or looking to refine their skills, the workshop provides a structured yet imaginative space to experiment, explore, and expand their artistic abilities. By the end of the two sessions, each participant will have created their own beautiful watercolour and ink bird artwork, gaining both practical painting experience and a unique appreciation for historical art techniques and nature-inspired creativity.
